I want to Influenster You...

To buy some of the awesome products I got in my summer beauty VoxBox.

First off, this is the first voxbox I've received since I joined Influenster about 3 months ago. I only joined because a lot of my friends from college have been posting about the awesome free samples they'd been receiving. They looked fantastic and I love trying new things, well.... that might be a lie, I should say I love trying new FREE things. I don't often order food I'm unsure of, or buy clothing from strange stores, because I hate wasting money. Anyway...I got my first box, and I was so excited!

The only difference from that picture to what I actually received is that the person in this picture got a better color nail polish, mine is purple and I haven't tried it yet. That's the whole point, try new stuff, write about it in our blogs, or on facebook, tweet about how cool the stuff is.

That being said, I can attest to the awesomeness of some products. The Clear shampoo and conditioner are awesome, though the shampoo is a bit more of a moisturizer than I typically enjoy. The scents they added to the cleaning part are perfect, smells better than most of the other products out there. I love the conditioner, it's perfect, my hair has never been softer. I rarely brag about my hair but I've actually asked my husband to touch my hair...after he got done looking at me funny he agreed that it's pretty freakin' soft. Needless to say I'll be buying both of these items.

The Banana Nut Bread is not great cold, I've just had half and decided I'll warm the rest up later and see if it tastes better. I love banana nut bread so I am hoping this is good. It's got 5 grams of Fiber and 6 of Protein so it's not even a lot of points for weight watchers, which I periodically attempt to follow.

I enjoy the Sally Hensen Nails and Cuticles Hand Creme, not enough to get rid of Ahava but enough that it'll do in a pinch, and is better than Lubriderm. I've used it several times and the main difference between Ahava  and Sally Hensen stuff is, other than the price, that Ahava doesn't wash off after doing a few dishes. If you're in a rush, or need something small to put in your purse, that doesn't cost a ton of money, Hensen's Nails and Cuticles is good for you.

For a little TMI, be prepared, I'll move onto the Tampax and Always products that I received. I don't use tampons so I can't test those out, and even if I did I think it might be a little person to talk about how awesome my tampon works. Too gross and icky. That being said, I loved the Always Radiance Pad that came in an adorable feminine product holder. It had a light, fresh scent that I wasn't expecting and was VERY thin. This is good for women that only use pads, no pad bump in the front or back. I've yet to try the pantyliners, and if I'm being honest I probably won't like them. I think they are a little silly. Yes they are cheaper than regular length/thicker pads but I think they don't do much.

So, that's my review, I'm leaving out the nail polish and the suntan lotion, they will get used this weekend. Friday I've got an acrylic fill in and pedi in the morning and Saturday I'm going to a concert so I'll be in the sun all day, I can't wait to try Hawaiian Tropic SPF 30. I've never really used suntan lotion, I'm not normally opposed to sunburn but 7-9 hours in the sun calls for a little bit of protection. That review to come next week!
